Student Shout-Out: Auroura Mosier
The real question is — what doesn’t she do? Auroura is always kind and willing to help others, whether it’s making sure a peer understands a question or supporting them with a challenging subject. If someone leaves a mess behind, she cleans it up without hesitation. She consistently does a great job in class and gives her best effort every day.
Auroura has been an amazing friend — always there for others and always supportive. She works hard on her schoolwork and stays highly engaged, especially in Mr. Eibert’s class where she participates thoughtfully and performs very well. If anyone deserves a shout-out, it’s Auroura!

Student Shout-Out: Michael George
Michael George consistently shows kindness and empathy. When I was upset, he checked in to see if I was okay and offered comfort when I needed it. On top of that, he helped a younger student in math, guiding them to complete their work and understand the concepts. Michael’s thoughtfulness, patience, and willingness to help others make a real difference in our school community! 🌟💙

This quarter, our 8th grade students at Nute Middle School have embarked on an exciting journey into the world of research and artificial intelligence (AI). Through a series of engaging activities, they are learning how to navigate library databases, recognize credible sources, and harness AI technology responsibly. Here’s a glimpse into the valuable skills they are developing:
We kicked off the quarter by diving into the critical skill of identifying credible sources. Students explored library databases and the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) to understand how to discern reliable information. A significant lesson was understanding domain credibility, where domains such as .gov, .edu, and .org are often more trustworthy than .com, which requires additional scrutiny.
Check out next weeks Newsletter to learn more about what Mrs. Price and her class are working on.
