Lily showed great ethical behavior and self-advocacy by appropriately apologizing after unintentionally upsetting a friend. She also came up with a compromise that made them both happy — demonstrating thoughtfulness and care in her actions. 💙✨

If you are looking for a great educational weekend activity, our friends at Moose Mountain Regional Greenway are offering a Winter Tree ID Walk
Join MMRG and Lindsay Watkins, UNH Cooperative Extension county forester and county forester for Strafford and Belknap, for a winter tree identification walk at Teneriffe Mountain Forest in Milton, NH Saturday December 6, 9:30a - 12p. This ecologically rich property features primarily oak and mixed hardwoods, with dramatic changes in forest composition as the elevation changes. Highlights include a rare chestnut oak stand—possibly one of the northernmost in New Hampshire—and a critically imperiled pitch pine rocky ridge community. Learn how to identify trees without their leaves while exploring one of the region’s most fascinating forest landscapes.

Our ELO Program at Nute has worked closely with Branch Hill Farm, the MMRGs sister organization, and greatly appreciates the relationship we have with these community organizations.

Arianna showed amazing respect and empathy during lunch on Wednesday. She noticed a peer who was very upset — someone not in her grade and not part of her usual group — and went over to lift their spirits. Acts like this show how much Arianna cares about others! 💙✨

Mr. Eibert has transformed math classes into fun, interactive, hands-on investigations that make learning both engaging and meaningful. His classroom is an ideal environment for students who might not naturally love math or who get bored with traditional worksheets and bookwork. By taking the time to learn about his students’ interests, Mr. Eibert connects them with curriculum that both challenges and excites them.
As an all-around positive and inspiring educator, he models what we should all strive to be. His genuine support for students—both in and out of the classroom—is evident through his attendance at sporting events and the strong relationships he builds with learners. He also values collaboration, regularly communicating with colleagues to share ideas, solve problems, and continue growing as a team. His consistency in pursuing student-centered goals and forward movement is truly encouraging.
This summer, Mr. Eibert represented Nute at NH CREATES, a statewide initiative supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and focused on cultivating interest and expertise in regenerative medicine and biotechnology. Through this program, he explored innovative ways to bring hands-on biotechnology and regenerative medicine concepts into our classrooms—helping to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and healthcare professionals.
👏🔬🧬 Thank you, Mr. Eibert, for your dedication to advancing STEM education and for making learning exciting, relevant, and full of possibility!

Ayden showed outstanding respect and empathy today by taking care of our classroom space. After the final bell rang, he stayed behind to clean the floor and put up his classmates’ chairs before heading out for the day — without being asked.
Actions like this make a big difference in our school community. Thank you, Ayden, for leading by example! 👏💙

RETAKE DAY IS NOVEMBER 12TH for NUTE
Retake day is for new students and staff members, transfer students, or for anyone who may have missed the initial picture day. Additionally, we welcome anyone who was unhappy with their original picture and would like to give it another try. Retake photos automatically replace original photos in school services and yearbook. If a student chooses to retake their photo, please have them return the original picture package to the photographer on picture day. We will replace it at no additional cost.
If this is the first time being photographed, just have the student/staff go to the camera and we’ll create a proof for them that will be sent to the school (and/or to their family email if we have that information). These proofs will be delivered approx. 4 weeks after picture day. An order code will be on the proof along with ordering instructions.

This week we’re joining the national movement of Red Ribbon Week to remind ourselves: every piece of your life’s puzzle matters. Choosing healthy, drug‑free habits helps you shape the big picture of your future.
🎯 Tips for Students:
· Pick your pieces wisely: Surround yourself with friends who support and uplift you.
· Fill your puzzle with passion: Try a new hobby, join a club, be active—find what makes you feel strong and proud.
· Reach out when unsure: If you ever feel pressured, unsafe, or just off-track—talk to a trusted adult.
👨👩👧 Tips for Families:
· Open the scene: Make dinner time or a car ride a moment to ask: “What puzzle piece did you add today?”
· Lead by example: Show healthy ways to manage stress, connect with others and enjoy life.
· Tap into local supports: Great resources are right here in our community.
· Parent Resource: Natural High – For Parents – Tips, activities, and conversation starters to help kids thrive drug-free.
📌 Local Support You Can Use:
· Community Partners – Youth & Family Services, mental health, and support for families in Strafford County: communitypartnersnh.org
· Milton Parks & Recreation Youth Programs – Positive activities in our town: miltonnh-us.com
Let’s put the pieces together and make meaningful choices—this week and every week! 💜🧩
