Dear Parents and Caregivers,
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to recognize the importance of emotional well-being for children, teens, and families alike.
This month serves as a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health. As children and teens navigate the demands of school, social relationships, and personal growth, it’s normal for them to experience stress or emotional ups and downs. The good news is that with support, understanding, and healthy coping strategies, they can't build resilience and thrive.
To help support your child—and your own well-being—I’ve attached a list of practical coping strategies you can use at home. These tools are simple, adaptable, and can make a meaningful difference in managing stress, improving communication, and fostering a positive home environment.
If you ever have concerns about your child’s mental health or need additional support, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help.
Thank you for being a vital partner in support ing the well being of our students.
